HeatWave is supported entirely by contributions from members, their families, 4-H organizations, and other generous individuals.  HeatWave has several fundraising events each year, including our annual raffle.  Donations of any size are accepted, appreciated, and greatly needed for sound equipment, costumes, props, and other needs.  If you wish to contribute, contact Janet Kassel at 876-6311.  Please make checks payable to HeatWave.  (4-H is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization.)  Donations to HeatWave are tax deductible.

 Donations are needed for:

• Sound equipment and repairs

• Costumes, props and music

• Travel expenses

• Production costs

• Awning for outside performances to protect performers from heat and sun

Book a Performance

Another way your organization could support HeatWave is to book a performance.  Our performance season generally runs from April through Sept.  To book a performance, please contact Janet Kassel at 876-6311.

Fundraisers that Support HeatWave

We generally sell cookie dough in the early spring so that delivery can be made around Mother’s Day.

We will let you know when cookie dough will be available for 2009.

 Our raffle drawing this year was held on July 12 at the lower Courthouse Park in Janesville.  Tickets were $5 each.  Top prizes this year included cash prizes of $500 and $200, and six months and three months of lessons at Karate America (valued at $514 and $277, respectively).  There were many more prizes amounting to over $2,700.  No prize was under $100.  Our license number is R0005448A-02167.  Watch for details on the 2009 raffle.
